OUR PROCESS
 

1. Contact Vanessa Hill at 410-581-5089 or vanessa@chesapeakenannies.com. You may also fill out our online inquiry.

2. Chesapeake Nannies will conduct a phone or in-person consultation, assessing the type of personality and qualifications that will best serve your family.

3. If you decide to proceed with the process, send back the signed family/agency agreement and parent information form. The registration fee will then take place. 

4.
 A list of potential screened nanny profiles will be sent to you. These nannies have been through a nanny interview, criminal background check and driving record.

5. Families choose the nanny of choice for an interview. Chesapeake Nannies coordinates the interview between nanny and family. You will be provided with a list of sample interview questions. We will follow up with you after each interview to discuss your decision regarding each candidate.

6. Once this process is complete and we have found the match for your family, we will provide a sample employment agreement, tax information and other resources for the successful nanny-family relationship. At this point, the remainder of the placement fee is to be paid in full.

7. Ongoing support. We keep in contact with our families and nannies even after a placement has been made.

EXPECTED NANNY SALARIES
The average salary range for permanent nanny positions are $20-30+per hour. The range depends on the number of children and the job requirements. The salary of a live-in nanny also varies. Room and board are factored into the amount paid.
